Snilesworth Moor Donates £3,100.00 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance

A fantastic effort from all the team at Snilesworth, £3,100.00 raised and donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The team headed by head keeper Jimmy Shuttlewood have raised this massive amount from a wide variety of methods. They’ve ran sweepstakes with the guns, ran a raffle at the beaters night, received donations from guests on shoot days and even had a swear box in the beaters hut, all this together culminating in this very impressive total.

Air Ambulances are a vital service to the rural communities and one that all the estates like to support.  The Yorkshire Air Ambulance needs to raise £12,000 per day to keep both of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s helicopters maintained and in the air. The donations received go directly into the life saving service provided. However, as an independent Charity they rely on the generosity of those who support the service to continue to save lives across Yorkshire.
