Fallout from lack of predator control allowed

As the General Licence debacle moves into another week, we encounter further on the ground fallout from the lack of predator controls that the Game Keepers now have to protect ground nesting birds.

The photos here show one chick survivor but unfortunately the other 2 didn’t get passed the crow.

The decision made at the weekend to remove the control of General Licences from Natural England to Defra has currently only added to the uncertainty of what the future holds.  Defra have requested evidence to assist them in understanding the impact of the revocation of the General Licences and this is why we are urging everyone who is/could be affected to get in touch directly with Defra and make their voice heard.
